Dear Parent,
It is lovely to be back at school and see you and the children again. As always, at this early time of year, I issue a reminder about safety in the car park area of the school. Firstly, please drive very carefully and very slowly through this area. This is a message for me, staff and you, the parents. It only takes a moment of carelessness for an accident to happen. We all must be mindful that it is a school where young children are walking through along with parents with babies and on many occasions: grandparents.
I ask you not to park on the bus lane. The buses need to be able to stop/ drop off/collect. Please park in the car park and walk your child over to the school door. Alternatively, with an older child, you can drop your child off at the front of the school and your child can walk into the building.
Again, the same applies in the evenings. The aim is not to park on bus lanes Please walk your child to the car and please drive slowly.
Please support me with this request, it is vital that safety is paramount in all our thoughts.
