Spring Clean Thanks
Dear Parent,
I wish to thank the children, parents, grandparents, former pupils and staff who attended the Spring Clean on Wednesday evening. The term ‘many hands make light work’ springs to mind. Everyone worked so diligently and got so much done! More importantly, they worked with a great spirit of fun and camaraderie. I would especially like to thank our Eco co-ordinator Mrs. Cox who is so ably supported by our Claire. They make quite a formidable team!
Our school is at the heart of the community, and it is vital that the children see its value within that community. So, by encouraging the children to be a part of the process where they actively support their school, carries on those important community values that we so often need and rely on, especially in times of difficulty.
I cannot thank you enough. I think the place looks really well especially for the Holy Communion. We worked until after 9:30pm. It was a perfect evening of no rain; no wind and it was quite warm. So, the biggest ‘thank you’ to you all. It was just an incredibly special evening.
Best Wishes,
Ms. O’Neill.
