P1 Induction Programme

Dear Parent,

Each year, Mrs.Quinn organises a P.1. Induction Programme for P.1. parents. This programme aims to support and enlighten parents with regard to their P.1. child’s syllabus and routines. This year, we are unable to deliver this programme by inviting you into the school. However, the powerpoint from the first workshop is available on the P.1. homework portal on the school website.

Please access this vital workshop which provides information on how and when we teach early reading and writing. There will be information on how to support your child with a sight vocabularly as well as the delivery of phonics. Additionally, Mrs.Quinn will also highlight to develop early writing skills.

This Literacy workshop is an essential part of the P.1. Induction, so please access it. If you have any queries or concerns, contact the school office, and either Mrs. Quinn or myself will be more than happy to speak to you.
