Mental Health Awareness Week
This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and the theme this year is “Kindness.”
We know so many of you are missing your friends and the social interaction we all have at school on a daily basis.
We would like you to take this opportunity to get creative and share what you think “kindness” is. Use arts and crafts to express yourselves and connect with your friends.
Being kind to others:
- helps us feel good
- makes other happy
- builds relationships
We would encourage you to send your videos and pictures to info@mullanaskea.enniskillen.ni.sch.uk or smcvitty625@c2kni.net and we can share these with our school community.
Some ideas include:
- Draw a picture of what you think kindness is/ make a mind map.
2. Film yourself performing a simple act of kindness at home.
3. Make a postcard for your class, your teacher, your friend.
You can use the “kindness calendar” to help with ideas.
Our GAA coaches have also provided a video for you all about Mental Health Awareness week which you can watch in your homework pages.
We miss you all and look forward to seeing your lovely acts of kindness.
