We have a couple of very busy months ahead.
Shared Education
The final Shared Education day for P3 & P4 is Wednesday 3rd May. The Primary 3 from Enniskillen Model will come up to Mullanaskea and Ms McAloon's Primary 4 class will be going down to the Model. Children will return in time for school dinners.
Fermanagh & Omagh District Council
Emmett Brogan, the Education Officer with Fermanagh & Omagh District Council will be in the school on Wednesday 3rd May to talk to the Primary 5 & Primary 6 children about recycling.
Florencecourt
The Primary 6 and Primary 7 children will visit Florencecourt on Friday 5th May. Electronic permission slips with all the information have been sent out via Microsoft Teams on a text message. Please submit all Forms by Thursday. The cost of this trip will be paid for through school funds.
Primary 5 Trip to W5
The Primary 5 class will be travelling to W5, Belfast on Friday 5th May to participate in their Dream Space programme. Please return your permission slips as soon as possible.
Confirmation
The Primary 7 class will make their Confirmation along with the children from St. Mary's Primary School, Tempo on Sunday 7th May at 3pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Tempo.
The School Photographer will be at the Chapel before 2pm if you would like any photographs
P7 Magilligan Trip
The Primary 7 class will be going on their residential trip to Magilligan Field Centre from Thursday 11th to Friday 12th May as their end of year trip. Information has already been sent home. Please return your consent forms as soon as possible.
School Photographer
The school photographer will be in the school on Tuesday 16th May to get class photos of Primary 1 and Primary 7. He will also do a mop up session of those that missed at the start of the year.
Confucius
We had a great day last week with the Chinese Cultural Event. Confucius lessons will continue every Thursday in May with the P5-P7 children.
Spanish
Davide will be in the school every Thursday in May to continue his Spanish lessons with every class.
Brass
Mr O'Hare will continue his Brass lessons with the P5-P7 children every Tuesday. A letter will be sent home shortly about payments for brass.
Swimming
The P6 and P7 children will continue their swimming lessons in the Lakeland Forum every Tuesday. The final payment of £15 is now due for swimming. If you would like to check how much you owe for swimming, please contact Claire in the office.
Milk
Children will continue to get their milk in school during the month of May. We still have a few outstanding payments. If you wnat to check whether you are up to date, please contact Claire in the office. We usually find that during the summer months, children don't want to continue taking the milk. If your child has decided not to take milk anymore, please let us know as soon as possible because it needs to be cancelled with the Dairy.
First Holy Communion
The Primary 4 class will make their First Holy Communion on Saturday 20th May 2023 at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tempo followed by a Tea Party in the school, hosted and organised by the Primary 3 parents.
Thank you to all those who in Primary 5 to Primary 7 who have committed to the choir on this day. Rehearsals will continue during school.
Spring Clean Thank You
Thank you to all those who came up to the school to help in the Big Spring Clean. We were able to put some colour into the playground and prepare the boxes for planting with the children.
P7 Trip to the Ulster American Folk Park
As part of their topic on the Irish Famine, the Primary 7 class will travel to the Ulster American Folk Park on Wednesday 24th May to participate in their Flight from Famine workshop. More information to follow.
School Closures
The school will be closed on Monday 8th and Monday 29th May for the Bank Holidays. We will also have Staff Development Days on Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 30th May. The school will reopen on Thursday 1st June.
PE
The last day for rugby for P5-P7 children will be Monday 15th May.
Mr Garrity from Fermanagh GAA will continue his lessons with P1-P4 every Thursday.
