Dear Parent,
The First Holy Communion for the P.4. class will take place on Saturday 22nd May 2021 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tempo at 11am. Seating in the Church is restricted because of social distancing and the gallery will need to be used in order to accommodate everyone. However, siblings of the First Communicant may attend.
First Confessions will take place on Monday 17th May in the school. Fr. Halton will come into the school where the children will receive their sacrament.
There will be a Holy Communion practice on Friday 21st May at 9am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tempo. We would appreciate it if you could drop your child off in Tempo and wait for half an hour to ferry him/her back to school. Normally, we would hire a bus for this occasion but this is not possible with the COVID 19 situation. If you have difficulty with this, please let us know beforehand.
On entry to the Church for the Holy Communion celebration, school staff will chaperone you to your seat. It is vital that the child is seated at the ‘aisle end’ of the seat for easy access in and out. Please ensure that you arrive in the Church by approximately 10:30am in order to guarantee that everyone is comfortably seated.
Please ensure that all adults wear a face mask in the Church and that both adults and children hand sanitise on entering and leaving the Church. Please enter the Church by the front door and when exiting at the end of Mass, leave by the side door near the Confessional.
