It’s going to be a busy December at Mullanaskea
Primary 5 Football Blitz
The Primary 5 class will be going to the Lakeland Forum on Friday 2nd December to participate in the Omagh Futsal Soccer blitz. The bus will leave the school at 9:10am and will be back around 2pm. Children need to bring a packed lunch.
Primary 6 Visit to Pre-School
The Primary 6 will be going over to the Pre-School on Friday 2nd December to participate in the Northern Ireland Daily Mile Santa Run and also do some Christmas crafts. Primary 6 children are asked to wear their Christmas jumpers.
Primary 7 Trip to Florencecourt
The Primary 7 children will travel to Florencecourt to participate in their Victorian Christmas Crafts. The bus will leave the school at 9:30am and will return at approximately 2pm.
Primary 1 Trip to the Ardhowen
The Primary 1 children will be going to the Ardhowen to see Santa’s Sooty Christmas on Wednesday 7th December. The bus will leave the school at 10am and will return in time for Christmas Dinner.
Christmas Dinner
Christmas Dinner will be on Wednesday 7th December. Notes have been sent home with the oldest of each family. If you have not already done so, please return these and we need to know numbers by Friday 2nd December. We will also have our Christmas Jumper Day on Wednesday 7th
Flu Vaccinations
The School Nursing Team will be in school on Thursday 8th December to administer the flu vaccinations.
Primary 2 Trip to the Ardhowen
The Primary 2 class will be going to the Ardhowen Theatre to see Santa’s Sooty Christmas on Friday 9th December.
Santa Sunday
Santa Sunday will take place on Sunday 11th December.
Christmas Shows
The Mullanaskea Christmas Shows are back with a bang with performances on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th with the matinee performance on Thursday 15th December. Notes have been sent home today with the oldest in the family about show and raffle tickets. Please return these by Monday 5th December.
Raffle Prizes
Once again, we are asking for donations of prizes and Christmas food hampers. If you would like to donate, please send all prizes in by Monday 12th December.
P1 To South West college
The Primary 1 children will be travelling to South West College on Friday 16th December for a very special breakfast. More details will be sent out when we have them.
School Closures
The school will close on Wednesday 21st December at 12 noon. There will be no school meals and school transport will only be operational in the morning.
The school will reopen to children on Monday 9th January 2023
