The Confirmation will take place on Thursday 6th May 2021 at the of Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tempo at 6pm.
Fr. Halton will celebrate the Confirmation. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, only four people per family can attend. This includes the Sponsor and the Confirmandi (young person making his/her Confirmation). The Church has been arranged in order to ensure that all families will get an adequate seat. On entry to the Church, school staff will also chaperone you to your seat. It is vital that the child is seated at the ‘aisle end’ of the seat for easy access in and out. Seats will not be allocated. Please ensure that you arrive in the Church by approximately 5:40pm in order to ensure that everyone is comfortably seated.
Please ensure that all adults wear a face mask in the Church and that both adults and children hand sanitise on entering and leaving the Church. Please enter the Church by the front door and when exiting at the end of Mass, leave by the side door near the Confessional.
The school has arranged, in consultation with Fr. Halton, for the school photographer Mr. McGale to take a photograph of the children as they make their sacrament at the altar immediately after the anointing. We will issue you with photographer details in the coming weeks. Due to the COVID 19 restrictions, there will be no group photograph.
The children’s practice today, went very well. They were a credit. I hope that they have a lovely evening on this very special occasion.
